I&#8217;m often surprised when people fully realize their authentic self is what resonates most powerfully with others. There&#8217;s no magic bullet. There is a fine-tuning and a continual crafting of how to deliver your authentic self.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re funny, use humor as a way to deliver your message. If you&#8217;re not naturally funny, I don&#8217;t suggest you try jokes for the first time in front of an audience of 1000. I like to say I&#8217;m Roshini every day of the week and no matter to whom I&#8217;m speaking. What changes is my audience. That means my delivery should adjust to what that particular audience needs. Here&#8217;s to your WOW!</p>

<p>Because 90% of home buyers find their homes online, photos powerfully communicate the condition and desirability of your home. What looks good in person is not necessarily what looks best in photos. Staging is far more about psychology than about decorating. Think of your home like any merchandise on a store shelf. Buyers choose the most attractive product and the one that appears to be the best value.</p>
<p>Your house will look best when each room appears spacious, light, impersonal, and clean. As Roshini often says, “Less is more.” Fewer furnishings, knick-knacks, and colors make photos easier to look at and keep viewers from becoming overwhelmed by details.</p>
<p>Photos make all the difference. If buyers don’t like them, they won’t come and if they don’t come, you simply cannot sell your home. The key? Elbow grease, a storage unit, and a professional photographer with a wide-angle lens.<em></em></p>

<p>In 2010, President Barack Obama signed the Plain Writing Act, requiring federal agencies to use &#8220;clear government communication that the public can understand and use.&#8221;</p>
<p>Smart businesses emphasize plain language, too. It saves time and money because it makes information-finding faster. Plain language is persuasive. No one buys what is hard to understand. Do your customers leave your Web site saying, &#8220;I still don&#8217;t know what they do?&#8221;</p>
<p>Writing clearly and simplifying syntax is not dumbing down language. It illuminates your message and gives it power. A few tips: 1) write to express, not impress  2) use plain, jargon-free language  3) focus on clarity and getting to the point  4) think of concise sentences and short paragraphs.</p>
<p>Join the plain language movement. It&#8217;s good customer service.</p>

<p>You have three seconds to get the attention of the reader, listener, viewer. It&#8217;s imperative that every time you share content&#8212;whether online or offline, in a traditional strategy or digital platform&#8212;you always put your best voice forward. A couple things to consider when implementing any content strategy:</p>
<p><strong>Your Brand</strong>: If your brand was a character from a movie, who would it be? Would your brand be like George S. Patton: authoritative, direct, strong?
